Cooking Simple Chinese Porridge

I am cooking a simple dish with pork and sliced fish ("Sheng Yu" 生鱼) for lunch today. It is very easy to prepare and super healthy as the ingredients used are fresh and boiled. 


I used just:
1 cup of rice
200g of sliced pork (Mei Rou)
200g of sliced fish 
1 medium size broccoli 

You could add carrots also. Cooking is easy. Just boil the water with rice. Marinate the pork with 2 tablespoon light soya sauce, 1 teaspoon corn flour and dash of white pepper. For the fish, I just add some salt and cornflour to stand for 15 minutes. 

After the water is boiled, put everything into the pot and boil till the right texture you prefer. If the water is running low, add a little more water to boil longer.
